Special facilities for the Division of Art include a graphic design classroom with fifteen Macintosh computers, with Internet access, projection system, storage area, and a professional quality laser printer. The Division of Art also makes use of a painting/drawing studio, sculpture studio, twenty five-seat lecture room, the Nutting Art Gallery and a printmaking lab. Digital Media Design majors have access to a Midi lab, state of the art sound recording studio, state of the art television studio and Media Arts classrooms.
Krise Ceramics Studio
The ceramics studio is located at the lower level of the Krise Hall, just a short walk from the Hall of Fine Arts. The spacious ceramics studio is providing a safe and versatile facility. The studio offers spaces for kilns, hand building and wheel throwing, clay mixing, glazing and plaster mixing, and an abundance of heavy-duty tables and tools to work on 3D projects in a variety of media
Printmaking Studio
The Printmaking facilities in the Hall of Fine Arts (rooms F204 and F210A) house four etching presses with plenty of heavy-duty tables and a screen-printing station with a wash-out booth. Printmaking students also have access to separate rooms with an exposure unit and ventilation booth. Students have access to a laser engraver and vinyl circuit cutter.
Drawing/Painting Studio
The painting/drawing classrooms are located on the first floor of the Hall of Fine Arts (rooms F208 and F210). All classrooms are fitted with heavy-duty sinks, storage racks, and several light tables, and the hallway has plenty of student locker space to house supplies. Students often draw from observation at different locations inside and outside of the Hall of Fine Arts. Students have plenty of space to draw or paint using easels or art benches.

Additional art spaces:The ceramics studio is located in the Krise Hall basement. Paul N. Elbin Library: The West Liberty University Library houses over 4000 art and design related titles. Faculty and students also have access to online resources such as the Grove Music and Art Online Database. The Library has six Macintosh computer stations, copy and printing services. The Library has served as additional art exhibition space, hosted and co-funded guest speakers.
ADA Compliance:The Hall of Fine Arts and the Media Arts Center are currently ADA compliant. The Media Arts Center and the Hall of Fine Arts have ADA compliant bathrooms, doors and entrances, and platform lifts at all stairways. Not all doors are automatic or power assisted doors but an accessible route connects accessible spaces. There are multiple handicap parking spaces in the Hall of Fine Arts parking lot.
