Career Services assists students with all facets of career preparation. All services offered are free to students and alumni.
The goal of the Career Services Center is to provide the services and resources to help students choose and prepare for their careers, find employment, and learn skills needed to transition successfully from student to professional.
West Liberty University also partners with Handshake, a career platform that allows current students and alumni to create and maintain an online profile through the Handshake application. By using this app, a person is able to search for employment/internship opportunities nationally and internationally. Various internship opportunities are also shared in a number of different industries/fields. Current students can access their account by visiting West Liberty’s Handshake link directly. Students can learn more about how to utilize Handshake through Handshake’s YouTube Channel.
