November 2, 2010 By Maureen Zambito

Share

West Liberty Television will host live Election 2010 coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Election Day on Wheeling Area Comcast cable channel 14 and online at www.wltvonline.com

WLTV’s coverage focuses on analysis of the election process and the election returns.

“WLTV attempts to provide something unique for viewers in the Ohio Valley,” said WLU Communications Director and WLTV Election 2010 anchor Reid Amos.  “We provide very insightful coverage with a panel than includes a group with deeper knowledge and experience than any team that will cover the election anywhere in West Virginia.”

WLTV’s coverage will include a panel of Howard Monroe of WVLY, West Liberty University President Robin Capehart, Political Analyst Jim Shaffer, WLU Journalism teacher and former radio news personality Tammie Beagle, WLU student Danielle Zacherl, and many more.  WLU students gain the experience of live election coverage as WLU students will serve in roles from top to bottom of WLU’s coverage, including: on-air talent, camera, graphics, audio, engineering, technical directing, and more.

WLTV’s Election 2010 coverage is being underwritten by:

WLTV’s coverage plans to continue until all the returns from the state’s major races are called and all the votes are counted in Ohio, Marshall, Brooke and Hancock counties.
