WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — West Liberty University welcomed students back to campus involvement with its Spring Club and Organization Fair, held in the Union Ballroom on January 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event brought together a wide range of student organizations eager to connect, recruit, and engage new members.
The fair featured over 40 clubs and organizations, representing academic interests, service, leadership, Greek life, recreation, and special interest groups. Students had the opportunity to meet organization leaders, learn about upcoming events, and discover new ways to get involved on campus.
For student leaders, the fair also serves as an opportunity to share their organization’s mission and welcome new members.
“The Club and Organization Fair is one of our favorite events each semester because it highlights the energy and leadership of our students,” said Kate Billings, Director of Student Life. “Student organizations play a vital role in building community, developing leadership skills, and helping students feel connected to campus. This event is often the first step in helping students find a place they can belong and grow.”
“Being part of the Club and Organization Fair allows us to show students what we’re about and how they can get involved right away,” said Camryn McClelland, Programming Director of SGA (Student Government Association). “It’s exciting to meet new people, answer questions, and invite others to be part of something meaningful.”
