WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — The West Liberty University Cheerleading Team has earned a bid to compete at the 2026 NCA College National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, marking a significant achievement for the program.
The National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals is one of the most competitive and prestigious events in collegiate cheerleading. The Hilltoppers secured their bid following the conclusion of the Fall 2025 season and will represent West Liberty University on the national stage in April.
This appearance marks the program’s return to NCA College Nationals for the first time since April 2023, highlighting continued growth and success within the cheerleading program.
“We are incredibly proud of this team’s dedication and the level of excellence they’ve achieved. Earning a bid to NCA College Nationals is a tremendous accomplishment, and we’re thrilled to see them represent WLU on the national stage,” said Gabby Guldin, Head Cheerleading Coach.
To support the team’s participation, the WLU Cheerleading Team has launched fundraising efforts to help offset expenses related to travel, lodging, registration, and competition fees.
