Rod Mustanski (WLU ’75) will be the special guest speaker at this week’s Speakeasy on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at noon in the Interfaith Chapel. The title of his presentation will be “The Road to Literary Success.”
In addition, Mustanski will offer a second presentation on Wednesday entitled “Writing Your Book and Getting It Published.” This event will take place at 2 p.m. in Room L-12, lower level of the Paul N. Elbin Library.
Mustanski has published four books to date, three novels from his “Adam’s Way Trilogy” and one book, “Enough is Enough: What All New Aspiring Writers Need to Know”. “Enough is Enough” was a 2009 National Best Books Award Finalist for Writing and Publishing. This “how-to” book is based upon his first-hand experience in writing his first manuscript and the roadblocks he hurdled getting it published.
“Mustanski is a retired educator and senior manager for the U.S. Army, he has over 30 years of speaking experience in the classrooms. Anyone who ever considered writing a book should attend these informative presentations,” commented Ron Witt, Director of the Alumni Association.
Mustanski will also host a book signing on Thursday, November 4 from 11 am to 1 p.m. at the campus bookstore.
