West Liberty, W.Va., April 2, 2025 – West Liberty University’s Gary E. West College of Business will host an interactive and networking-focused Executive Seminar event for students to gain a deeper knowledge of managing and operating multiple businesses from Lisa Ferguson, a judge for Jefferson County, Ohio, and owner of multiple businesses in the area. Students will be able to ask pertinent industry questions, with the addition of a networking breakout afterward with Judge Ferguson.

Lisa Ferguson will present her advice and journey on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. in Elbin Auditorium, College Hall.
Ferguson started her journey in Weirton, WV, and completed her undergraduate degree at West Liberty University. She then went on to complete her law degree at West Virginia University, where she focused on real estate law.
She is the owner or co-owner of many businesses in the area including 7 Ranges Entertainment, Ferguson’s House of Furniture, 24/7 Fitness, Open MRI of Steubenville, and D&L Construction. She also develops and leases real estate in the Ohio Valley.
Lisa Ferguson, in addition to being a business owner, has been a local judge for around 10 years now. She oversees cases from Jefferson County District #1 Court in Toronto, Ohio. She took over this position in March of 2015 to fill the opening left by the previous judge, Joseph Corabi.
Outside of her work Lisa loves to travel with her family to different places across the U.S. She also enjoys giving back to the community in any way she can.
“It will be interesting to be back. I can still remember walking onto campus the first day,” said Ferguson.
