West Liberty University will host an 8-week Financial Planning Series, “Financial Planning in Uncertain Times” starting Thursday, June 23rd. All sessions will take place on Thursday nights beginning at 7:00pm. Sessions will be held at the WLU Highlands Center, with the exception of Session 1, that will be held at the main campus.
The first session titled “Pipeline Right of Way for Natural Gas and Water… Addressing the Issues” will be at College Hall on WLU’s campus. The featured speaker for this event is Craig Sweger, Managing Partner for Appalachian Lease Assurance Services, LLC (Avella PA).
“The Financial Planning Seminar Series is a community service of West Liberty University. It provides a unique opportunity to educate the general public on a number of financial and wealth preservation issues. The sessions provide a forum for professionals in their respective areas of expertise to share advice and answer questions on a variety of important planning strategies,” explained Ron Witt, Director of the Alumni Association & Planned Giving at WLU.
Immediately following the presentation will be a Q &A session with Erik Schramm, Attorney at Law with Hanlon, Estadt, McCormick and Schramm Co., LPA and Paul McKay, Senior Trust Officer at WesBanco Bank.
The Financial Planning Series will run throughout the summer and will feature the following topics and speakers:
