The 2012 MAD Festival (Media Arts and Design Festival – formerly the West Virginia Flash Festival) is online and is now accepting student works. Please go to https://westliberty.edu/wvfestival to see details, submit your digital art and/or music, see a schedule of events, and more. The MAD Festival takes place on Friday, April 27th and features workshops, presentations, the MAD Festival Awards Ceremony, and a concert by the Electronic Music Ensemble. Below is a basic schedule:
8:30 AM – Opening Remarks
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Morning Sessions
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Afternoon Sessions
3:30 PM – 5:30 PM – MADFEST 2012 – Student media arts competition and awards. See link for entry details.
7:00 – West Liberty University’s Electronic Music Ensemble performs in College Hall.
All activities are free, but sessions are sure to fill up, so you need to pre-register to select the sessions you would like to attend.
