This workshop explores the blending of book as art with an introduction to easy bookmaking skills. Participants will learn bookmaking basics by creating a fully functional, tiny book customized from various materials. All participants will create a uniquely personal book they can take with them as a personal token for uplifting encouragement or to share with others at the end of the workshop.
A basic materials list will be sent to participants that will include easy to find recycled materials, a basic adhesive such as Elmer’s Glue, thin cardboard, string, scissors, markers, pencils, paints, and other easy to find optional materials.
