Henry Lash was an avid collector of sheet music, and upon his passing, he bequeathed his beloved collection to the library. During the fall of 2017, efforts have been made to digitize the collection with the assistance of student interns. The digital images will be available on Flickr in the near future. The hard copies will be archived in protective sleeves and boxes for future generations to enjoy. The collections ranges in age from 1880-1930, and it features a genre variety of jazz to gospel, to opera. If there is any interest in viewing the collection in person, please do not hesitate to call the reference desk to schedule an appointment with one of our librarians.
A heartfelt thanks to Alaina Pauley for her efforts in digitizing this collection and the use of her photos.
