West Liberty University Statement in Support of Peaceful Protests
As the oldest public college in the state of West Virginia — a state that was born during the Civil War — we are united in support of unity and justice for all. Racism has no place on our campus or in our country at any time, and WLU remains committed to supporting justice and racial equality, as it provides a quality education to all. We support the efforts of our Campus & Community Diversity Committee, which represents students, faculty and staff, throughout the year. Plead read the message below from this committee that was shared with campus on June 2, 2020. The full news release is found HERE.
