To apply to the clinical portion of the Dental Hygiene Program, please use the this link to complete the online application.
In order to apply to the clinical portion, students must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, all prerequisite courses, received a grade of C or higher in all prerequisites completed, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Please complete the application form by January 15th if you are ready to apply to the clinical portion of the dental hygiene program for admission the upcoming fall semester. In order to be considered for admission, you must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, a C or higher in all prerequisite courses attempted, and be scheduled to complete the prerequisite courses prior to the fall semester. Prerequisite courses include:
- English 101
- English 102
- Oral Communications (COM 101)
- Psychology (PSYCH 101)
- Sociology (SOC 150)
- Anatomy & Physiology lecture and lab (BIO 204/205)
- Foundations of Chemistry lecture and lab (CHEM 100/101)
- Microbiology lecture and lab (BIO 216)
- Nutrition (BIO 330)
