Associate Professor of Graphic Design Jim Haizlett will be making an oral paper presentation at the 2011 International Technology, Education and Development Conference – (www.inted2011.org) in Valencia, Spain on March 7 – 9. The goal of INTED2011 is to promote international collaboration in Education and Research in all educational fields and disciplines. The conference provides the opportunity to present and discuss research, case studies, applications, and the latest innovations in the field of Higher Education and Industry. Attendance of more than 500 delegates from 65 different countries is expected.
Professor Haizlett’s published paper will join an ISBN database of innovative projects in Education and Research. The paper explores online alternatives to the use of textbooks in the classroom, specifically for instructors of graphics and design courses.
