Dr. Heather Sexton is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Certified Sex and Relationship therapist specializing in helping couples reconnect, repair, and thrive—both emotionally and intimately.
With advanced training in couples and sex therapy, including Imago Relationship Therapy, EMDR, Autism Assessments, Parts work, and sex-positive frameworks, my approach is integrative, evidence-based, and grounded in the belief that healthy intimacy is possible for every person and relationship—with the right tools, support, and willingness to grow.
She has an earned a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Clinical Sexology from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes, a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson University. She is a member of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research, the West Virginia Counseling Association, Imago Relationships North America, and the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. She is currently licensed in Ohio and West Virginia.
