Ann V. Lewis, age 85 of Glen Dale, WV died Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV.
She was born October 22, 1929 in Moundsville, the daughter of the late Sab and Isabelle Lewis.
She attended St. Francis Xavier and St. Jude Catholic Church’s, where she was a member of the St. Jude Women’s Guild; an Alpha Delta Pi Alumni; and a retired Dental Hygienist with Dr. Garry Lewis.
Ann attended St. Francis Grade School; graduated from Moundsville High School, and graduated from West Liberty State College with a 4 year Dental Hygiene Degree; was a volunteer at the Mound Museum; a member of Marshall County Historical Society; a painter; President of the Kentucky Dental Hygiene Association, and appeared on a Dental Hygiene TV Program; taught Dental Hygiene at Kentucky University; worked part time at Marshall County Schools; and she loved children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Buzzard, Sara Lewis, and Margaret “Bobbie” McCulley; a brother, Dick Lewis; a niece, Marti Buzzard; and two great-nephews.
Survivors include a sister, Frankie (Bob) Hoskins of Maryland; 19 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and nephews; and 23 great-great nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
