Biography
Dr. Berman has been teaching at West Liberty University since 2010 and currently the director of the Social Work Program. Her research interests include Child Welfare, Advocacy, Rural Social Work Practice, and Alice Paul. At WLU, she teaches courses in Macro Practice in Communities and Organizations, Introduction to Social Work, Senior Seminar, Professional Ethics, and Advocacy.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading historical non-fiction and local interest books. She is also a beekeeper at her own registered apiary.
