West Liberty, W. Va., November 11, 2024 – The West Liberty University (WLU) Choir Program, along with the WLU Community Choir and local instrumentalists, are pleased to present Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass 7pm Friday, November 15 at Wheeling’s historic Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church.
In addition, the choirs will be premiering Solomon’s Songs for the Bride by Florida-based composer Matthew A. Fossa. Fossa has been the Principal Oboist of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra since 2002. He has written works ranging from solo instrument pieces to compositions for full bands and orchestras. His self-published music has been performed across the United States and is widely distributed by music retailers.
The concert is supported by a generous donation from Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church through the WLU Foundation.
Admission is free. A good will offering will be taken at the concert with proceeds going to the WLU Foundation Vance Memorial account.
