On Sunday, April 17, 2010, The Department of Music and Theater of West Liberty University will present a Concert of Choral Music at 3:00 PM in West Liberty’s Interfaith Chapel.
The program will feature three of West Liberty’s choral organizations: The University Chorus, The Chamber Choir, and The Concert Choir. All are under the direction of Alfred R. de Jaager, Director of Choral Activities at the university.
The program is varied. The University Chorus, accompanied by Antony Bruno, will perform works by Aaron Copland and Stephen Sondheim. Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Rachmaninoff are among the many composers whose works will be performed by The Chamber Choir and The Concert Choir.
There is no admission charge and the public is cordially invited to attend.
