West Liberty University will hold its Spring Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 8, 2010, in the Academic Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC). The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. Doors will open for seating at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are not required.
Graduates, guests and families are encouraged to park behind the Academic Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC). Shuttle vans will be available to pick up guests parking at other areas around campus.
According to Registrar Scott Cook, 231 students are expected to complete graduation requirements during the spring semester.
Megan Nicole Brookover, from New Martinsville, W. Va., will be the graduating student speaker.
Dr. David Hardesty, President Emeritus of West Virginia University, will deliver the Commencement address.
A reception for the graduates and their guests will be held immediately following the ceremony in the Student Union.
