Committee Description
Campus Internationalization Committee is responsible for coordinating international educational opportunities and initiatives, including overseeing international aspects of the curriculum, evaluating and approving study away programs, and administering resources related to study away and campus internationalization.Vision Statement
Building competencies that connect the local to the global, cultivating critical thinking, learning, and intercultural understanding from the multiple perspectives that serious international engagement offers.Mission Statement
Our mission is to support and promote the internationalization of learning, teaching, research and community involvement at West Liberty University. We do this through programs for education abroad, international students and scholars, and global engagement across the university. Internationalization Committee is not intended to serve as a “one-stop shop” for all things global or international at the college; rather, Internationalization Committee will provide collaborative support for initiatives and projects wherever the interests lie by linking and integrating existing resources, always working toward the evolution of a global education and engagement at WLU.
