Biological Sciences

Graduates from WLU’s biology program have many exciting opportunities. Many of our graduates can be found working with the environment, wildlife, botany, laboratory services, agriculture, or other science-related professions.

Communication Sciences and Disorders

Impairments of communication – speech, language, and hearing disorders – are among the most prevalent of human disabilities. Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology are areas of professional specialization which focus on the development, identification and treatment of communication disorders.

Dental Hygiene

The Dental Hygiene Program is committed to creating an educational environment that fosters the development of competent oral health professionals who are capable of thinking critically, solving problems and making responsible decisions in the delivery of dental hygiene care.

MA/MS Biology

The Masters Programs for Biology Majors at West Liberty University is designed to offer a flexible curriculum that meets the needs of students locally, nationally, and internationally. Students will enhance their educational and employment opportunities in the biological sciences.

Department of Nursing

The Nursing Program incorporates various educational opportunities in classroom and clinical settings to prepare students as professional nurses.

Psychology uses the scientific method to study diverse topics such as development, personality,  cognition, perception, memory, language, intelligence, motivation, emotions, psychological disorders, and how humans relate to, interact, and influence each other individually and in groups.
