Loni Nicole Simms and Joseph Michael Richmond II were united in marriage Saturday, May 17, 2014 in a private outdoor ceremony at the Wheeling Coffee Shop with Mark Crow officiating.

The bride is the daughter Tom Simms of McMechen and the late Betty Sue Simms.

The groom is the son of Joe and Peggy Richmond of Moundsville.

A reception was held after the ceremony.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School, a 2003 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College and a 2006 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in education. She is employed by the Marshall County Commission as a tax deputy.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and a 2001 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in photography. He is employed by the city of Moundsville as a building inspector.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple resides in Moundsville
