Brenda Steiniger of Triadelphia has been named executive director of the Habitat for Humanity-Wheeling Area.
Steiniger began her duties on July 1, 2015. Prior to accepting the new position, Steiniger was employed for 18 years at the Sexual Assault Help Center, Wheeling, where she worked as a victim advocate, sexual assault response team coordinator, prevention education specialist, hotline coordinator and as a volunteer.
Since 2013, she has been a West Virginia Supreme Court approved family mediator. Steiniger received her bachelor of science degree in communications in May 1988 at West Liberty State College and her master of arts degree in human services in June 2012 at West Liberty University.
