Beth Baker Salatino – 1988

Beth Ann Baker Salatino, 49, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born May 15, 1966 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of Patricia “Patsy” Miller Baker and the late Frank J. Baker, Sr.

Mrs. Salatino was a Financial Aid Officer at West Liberty University, and she was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Beth had a beautiful smile and was a very loving and caring person. She made everyone laugh and feel happy and made you feel you were the most special person in the room. She was Treasurer, a Sponsor and a huge fan of the Wheeling Park High School football team. She loved all the members of the team and their parents, and would cook and serve meals for them, and was always showing her “Park Pride”.

Beth loved her mom, husband, son, family and her dog. She was the “Rock” of the family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shawna M. Salatino in 1996.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Anthony “Sal” Salatino; a son, Troy Anthony Salatino; a brother, Frank J. Baker, Jr.; all of Wheeling; father and mother -in-law, Anthony R. and Mary E. Salatino of Wellsburg, WV; brother-in-law, Mark A. Salatino and his wife, Pam of Follansbee, WV; two sisters-in-law, Roxanne L. Mears of Wellsburg, WV, and Janey S. Darmafall of Florence, SC; and several special nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 640 Old Fairmont Pike, Wheeling, WV, with the Rev. Dennis Schuelkens, Jr. as celebrant.

Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard, WV.
