West Liberty University will host a Financial Planning Seminar Series titled “Financial Planning in Uncertain Times” over a period that includes seven Thursdays in June, July and August at WLU’s Highlands Center.
The program will be provided over eight weeks, starting Thursday, June 17th running through August 5th, 2010, with no session on July 1st (due to holiday weekend).
The widely ranging sessions will include education in areas including: Use of Trusts in Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Wealth Preservation, Insurance Issues, How Today’s Market Impacts Your Investments, Income Retention and Philanthropy, and Understanding Mineral Rights: Coal, Gas and Oil. “There is an obvious need for financial planning education to be available to the general public”, said West Liberty University Executive Director of Development Jason Koegler. “We are more than pleased to work in conjunction with the West Liberty University Highlands Center to provide this Financial Planning Seminar Series as a community service.”
Each session will run from 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. All sessions are available free of charge and open to the general public.
