Nursing Scholarship Opportunities
At West Liberty University, we are committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders. Through the generosity of our donors and the West Liberty University Foundation, several nursing-specific scholarships are available to help students achieve their educational goals.
Eligibility & Awards
Each spring, the Department of Nursing announces scholarship opportunities specifically for incoming junior or senior nursing students. These awards are applied to the following academic year.
Please note:
- Availability: The specific number of scholarships and the dollar amounts awarded each year are dependent upon the funds available within the Foundation.
- Selection: Awards are granted based on the pool of qualified applicants and specific donor criteria.
How to Apply
If you are a current West Liberty University nursing student, the application window for the 2026-2027 academic year is:
Application Period: January 1, 2026 – April 1, 2026
Eligible students are encouraged to apply through the WLU Foundation Scholarship Portal during this timeframe. Don’t miss the opportunity to offset your educational costs through these dedicated nursing funds!
