Speech, language, and hearing are all integral pieces of human communication. Any difficulty or loss in communicative function can lead to decreased success in reaching developmental, academic and vocational goals. Communication is a social tool that should be accessible to every individual no matter the circumstances.
The Speech Pathology and Audiology (SPA) Program has been in existence since 1975. Our goal is to serve our community by offering a wide variety of services for adolescents to adults experiencing communication difficulties in the areas of hearing, speech, and language.
Beginning Spring 2021, the clinic will be expanding services and moving to its new location!
What’s new? We will be accepting pediatric and school-aged clients ages 3 -18 for assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice. Beginning fall 2021, adult clients will be added to our patient base. Hearing services will remain the same, serving patients age 6 and up. Our clinic accepts self-referrals, physician referrals and referrals from other health-care professionals.
