Destiny Patterson is a senior Broadcasting major at West Liberty University. She grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia and is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School. She has shaped her academic journey around a passion for storytelling, on‑air performance, and connecting with audiences. Destiny prefers being in front of the camera rather than behind it, and she is currently focused on strengthening her vocal presence by becoming more aware of how she sounds and improving her articulation for future media work.

In her free time, Destiny enjoys relaxing at home with her dog and cat, playing Mario Party with her boyfriend, going for walks around her neighborhood, and catching up on sleep. Summer is her favorite season for travel, and she often vacations with her family and her boyfriend. In recent years, she has visited Virginia, the Mohican River, and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Some of her favorite childhood memories come from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and she looks forward to returning there someday.

As graduation approaches, Destiny is excited to begin her career in broadcasting. She hopes to work for WTRF in the future and is eager to see where her dedication, personality, and on‑air talent will take her as she steps into the professional media world.
