Aubrey Skidmore is from Morgantown, West Virginia. She graduated from Morgantown high school in the class of 2026. She is a member of the West Liberty University track team and has been running track since eighth grade. Aubrey competes in sprint events like the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, as well as the 4×100 and the 4×200 meter relays. Being a college athlete has given Aubrey the opportunity to challenge herself and continue doing something she has enjoyed for many years.

Aubrey also has a strong background in dance. She danced for fourteen years and competed for seven of those years. Her favorite styles are jazz and contemporary. Dance has taught her a lot about discipline, dedication, staying consistent and teamwork.

Outside of school and athletics, Aubrey also enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling and trying new things. Her favorite place to travel to is New York City because of the endless experiences and opportunities to explore. 

Although she is still exploring career options, Aubrey has a strong interest in news/sports broadcasting. She has always enjoyed speaking in front of others and became interested after taking broadcasting and editing classes in high school. Aubrey hopes to continue developing her communication skills and use her voice to connect with audiences through the media.
