In this “Students with Stories” interview, host Haley Norris talks with Professor Evan Robinson, who teaches Rock Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Trombone, and Low Brass at West Liberty University. Professor Robinson majored in Music at his university and has performed with several orchestras including Wheeling Symphony, Youngstown Symphony and Orquesta Filamonica in Queretaro Mexico.
In the first segment, Professor Robinson talks about his start into music. He talked about his time in university and his reason as to why he started teaching rock appreciation. We also discussed what other he plays other than Brass and his reason to choose West Liberty to teach at.
In the second segment, Professor Robinson got to talk about his interest outside of music, vintage cars. He discussed how he got started liking vintage cars, how he still enjoys them today and his own personal opinions on automatic or manual cars and what car he would want.
