Balaram Naithani grew up in Wheeling, WV more specifically by the Palace of Gold in a Hare Krishna community to two immigrant parents, his mother is from Bosnia and his father from India. Growing up in a Hare Krishna community exposed him to many cultures and people from around the world, plus going to public school In WV rounded out his experiences, as he got to experience both East and West equally.
After graduating high school, Balaram traveled to many places in and outside the States and Canada. He traveled around Europe for 2 months and visited 10 different countries there like Belgium, Denmark, France, Spain to name a few. Balaram has also spent a lot of time in India as his father is from there, traveling there for spiritual/religious and for visiting his extended family. Balaram spent 6 months in India one time living a semi monastic life, which deepened his perspective on the world and himself.
Balaram is really into film, photography, music, writing, and any other creative outlet. He spends most of his time filming with his friends and doing random creative projects. Balaram loves movies of all kinds of genres, some of his favorites are Shutter Island, Cure, Nacho Libre, and Scream. Some of Balaram’s favorite music artists are New Edition, Michael Jackson, N.E.R.D, Tears For Fears, and Kanye West.
He aspires to continue doing his creative work in a professional field to whatever capacity, avenue, and medium he can achieve. Balaram hopes to improve his voice in media by improving the delivery, tone, and meter so he can be an effective communicator no mater the field.
