On Monday morning, October 27, Ally Sarras of WGLZ sat down with someone who has an interesting story and gave them the platform to talk about it. On September 20th, Echo got proposed to by their fiancé: Declan Smith.

Echo Pearl is a junior from Warwood, West Virginia, and they are a graphic design major with a minor in videography and photography. During Ally’s interview with Echo, they divided it into two parts. In the first half of the interview, they delved into Echo and Declan’s relationship and how it evolved from high school to college. Echo offers up some relationship advice and plans that are financially friendly.

After the brief break, Ally asks Echo about the big moment—their proposal—and their plans for the wedding.
