Born in Denver, Colorado, but raised in Moundsville, West Virginia, was none other than Mathieu Wright. He always loved connecting with people with his stories or sports. He graduated from John Marshall High School with the class of 2023. Now he is a student at West Liberty University where he will try to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting

He dreams of being a sports commentator for the NFL or starting up his own sports podcast. Wright is already trying to work with his voice for next year as he will make his debut with students around West Liberty University. His topics include talking about campus life, personal interests or stories either he or they have from West Liberty University.

Whenever he isn’t in the studio, Wright likes to stay active whether it’s lifting, flag football or pickleball. He really loves watching football, basketball or hockey with all of his teams he supports from Colorado. When he is taking a break from watching sports, he also enjoys playing video games, with his favorite game being Dead by Daylight.

Wright’s goal to better his voice is to be natural, genuine, and engaging. He would want his audience to feel like they are in the conversation whether he is talking about someone on the field or interviewing with someone with a story that’s unique. He doesn’t want to use his voice to just entertain but to bring stories to life.
