On this new episode of our “Passionately vocal” series called “students with stories. Our new WGLZ interviewer Abby Adams is interviewing a college student on campus who is named Alania Cole and she is discussing her tale of her annual summer vacation with her family for their mother’s birthday celebrations at the beach which was just from this previous summer.

 At the very beginning of this story, Alania describes her summer vacation is what we consider a family tradition of sorts, every year for her mother’s birthday she will plan a beach and the fun activities they participate in. There is one particular activity that didn’t sit well with Alania and was an out of world experience for her since she only has attempted this activity 2 in her entire life. And at the end of the first part, she lists off the many different foods that her and her family enjoyed which the list consist of variety and diverse food selections of seafood and comfort food selections available on vacation.

And onto our second part of Alana’s story is about the ending of her family’s vacation with a schedule filled with last minute activities before waking up at the very beginning of dawn where they pack up everything and head back home as quickly as possible.
