Students With Stories is a part of the Passionately Vocal Series. In this interview, host Haley Norris interviewed student Katherine “Katie” Hill about her interest in Zoo Science and her summer in Washington being involved in a bat study project.

In the first segment, Haley asked Katie about her major and how she decided it. Katie explained her early interest in Zoo Science as a little kid and how West Liberty helped her figure out how she can turn this interest into a career for her and discusses about what plans she might have once she graduates from West Liberty and the opportunities that will help her career.
In the second portion, Haley asks Katie about her summer in Washington assisting the North American Bat Project. She talked about an average day’s work for her and her team and the goal of the study as well as the NA Bat Project.
