The audio file below contains various samples of work from WGLZ DJ, Taylor Scott. It has the best samples from when she first started her weekly show back in September to now. You may have even caught one of her shows without knowing it. They aired on Wednesday mornings around 9:00am lasting until 10:00am. Those shows didn’t have a set theme, they talked about different things each week. 

The aircheck, (the proper name for the audio file), has pieces from various segments. Despite the fact that it’s some of her best work, you can really hear how she’s grown as an announcer. As well as how she became more comfortable behind the microphone over the course of a few months. There are some segments from introductions and closing pieces. Along with some from the WGLZ weather watch and main show topics. The aircheck really has a good variety if you want to hear some of Taylor’s work.

Finding out about having a weekly radio show was something that sounded new, scary, and exciting all in one to Taylor. Due to this, it’s definitely safe to say that communication skills that were lacking have developed a lot. As did a sense for a new foundation of what she wants to do in her future career. Truly a lot was taken from this course that will help Taylor succeed in her future endeavors.
