This is an episode of “Students with Stories” which is part of the series Passionately Vocal.

The episode we have here is where the host J-Bird is interviewing a West Liberty University student by the name of Faith Fairbanks, where she talks about her life as a 6 year-old and her experience of being in a cult.

In the first segment of the episode Faith Fairbanks talked about getting into the cult as well as meeting the head of it where we found he was not at all a great guy. By listening you will find out that he took the money that was donated to the church and would spend it on fancy clothing for himself. 

 

During the second segment Faith talked about how the cult leader would say things on how men were superior to women. She then talked about how the leader didn’t want anyone to celebrate any holidays at all and believed that Santa Clause did not exist and if you believed in him it was a sin.
