On December the 3rd Khristiann Crosten interviewed their High School principal, Steve Wamsley. Steve Wamsley has worked in public education for 43 years starting out as a coach then later landing a job in Mill Creek for Tygerts Valley High School. This is actually Steve’s last year of teaching because this coming July he will be retired. Because of his soon retirement plans he is excised to travel with his family, probably to somewhere warmer if he could help it. Khristiann Learns more about how her former school works from Wamsley like how they go about hiring new teachers for the school and how the school has changed from blocks to periods since Khristiann has left. Steve gives insight into running a small school and expresses his love for it throughout the interview. Hearing about a small town may not be the most exciting thing in the world to most but you do have to appreciate the tight knit community that forms in them.
