Jason Lipovich was born and raised in Weirton, West Virginia. He went to Weir High School and graduated with high honors. In high school he was obsessed with radio and TV which he always wanted to be a part of. It wasn’t until his senior year that he knew for sure he wanted to study it in college. His hobbies are watching horror movies like Friday the 13th, The Conjuring, and Long Legs, he also enjoys playing video games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, and he really enjoys playing guitar with some of his favorite bands to play songs from are Nirvana, Blink-182, and Video Game tracks. After he graduates from West Liberty University he would like to be on Radio or Television whether that’s in front or behind the camera. As a radio host he loves to go by J-Bird because it was just one of those nicknames that stuck with him. Being a talent for television never bothered him because during his high school years he was an actor for many school plays so he understands the process of being a good talent. He also plans on making sure every word that comes out of his mouth is clear and easy to understand because on WGLZ he is all about being passionately vocal.
