Deuce Figaretti is a second-year digital media design student at West Liberty University and a proud Wheeling, West Virginia native. He’s driven by a desire to tell grounded, human stories rooted in Appalachian communities—stories shaped by real people, real places, and lived experience. Deuce plans to bring those skills home by launching a video production business focused on local advertising, wedding films, and short-form storytelling that reflects the heart of the region.
Outside of class, Deuce’s creativity shows up through music and the open road. He plays acoustic and electric guitar across rock, folk, and country, performing with The Way Student Ministry’s worship band. He also rides a Suzuki TU250X, often exploring West Virginia’s back roads or motorcycle camping with his dad. Both pursuits have sharpened his sense of rhythm, pacing, and presence—elements that quietly influence his visual and audio storytelling.
Deuce’s short film Stay Dead earned first place at the 2024 West Liberty 48 Hour Film Festival, demonstrating his ability to create under pressure. In an AI-saturated media landscape, Deuce believes authentic voice matters more than ever. Through podcasting and radio, he strives to be passionately vocal—building community, fostering connection, and reminding audiences that real stories are still told by real people.
