Distinctive Discussion with Skylar Minhas

Skylar Minhas is a graduate of Point Park University, where she got her Bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts and a minor in screenwriting. She went to Pace University for film and screen studies before transferring to Point Park University, and has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from West Virginia Northern. Skylar is very passionate about the entertainment industry and that is why I sat down and talked with her.

Skylar was recently a production assistant in the television show pilot, “Hometown,” by Mad Street Films. She also interned as a Film Festival Jury for Student World Impact Film Festival where she reviewed and evaluated films for the criteria, and as a script reader at the Big Apple Film Festival where she provided thorough script coverage.

In this interview, I ask her questions about the film industry from someone who has done some projects as well as her favorite things about it and what keeps her going. This is the final part of the “Passionately Vocal” series – Distinctive Discussion
