Beta Fish & Video-Editing – Peyton Marsh’s Story

On Monday morning, October 13, Ally Sarras of WGLZ sat down with someone from her class and interviewed him to learn more about his life.

Peyton Marsh is a junior from Follansbee, West Virginia, and he is a media production major with a minor in videography and photography. During her interview with Peyton, she divided it into two parts. In the first half of the interview, they discussed Peyton’s passion for beta fish and immense knowledge of them. From his time raising beta fish to his unique and detailed historical facts about them, Peyton educated her on the vast world of the oceanic creature. The latter half of the interview focuses on Peyton’s video-editing education up to now and how it reinforced his skills and passion for video-editing. Specifically, he mentions his time as a key member of his high school’s podcast and how that positively influenced his video-editing skills and social experience.
