Hayden Abdullah is a junior at West Liberty University and a recent addition to the men’s basketball team. He transferred from Coker University in South Carolina and is excited for this new chapter both on and off the court. Originally from the small town of Mansfield, Connecticut, Hayden has lived there his entire life and is proud of his roots.
Beyond basketball, Hayden is a passionate car enthusiast. He has owned four sports cars and enjoys working on them and going for spirited drives. He also spends his free time playing video games, taking photos, and listening to a wide range of music. His creative side blends well with his academic focus, he’s currently pursuing a degree in digital media design.
After graduation, Hayden hopes to play professional basketball, potentially overseas. At the same time, he’s preparing for a career in the media or design field, using the skills he’s developing in his program. While he’s still figuring out how he might use his voice in the media space, he’s open to exploring different paths and opportunities
Balancing athletics, academics, and personal passions, Hayden is driven to make the most of his time at West Liberty and build a strong future beyond college.
