Sarah Schultz was born and raised in Weirton, West Virginia. She attended and graduated from Weir High School in 2019. Before she transferred to our campus, she attended West Virginia Northern Community College, and started at West Liberty University in spring of 2022 to pursue video production.
Sarah is currently a senior and is pursuing a degree in broadcasting, after graduating she hopes to work in the film industry in some way whether that be a camera operator or director/producer. Sarah has worked on a few shows here at West Liberty, such as Noise Violation where she was camera operator and CG (character generator), College Gourmet where she worked in the server room, and for the news as running the teleprompter, camera and writing stories for it. She also has experience in filming and editing, she has made some PSAs and short films.
Some of Sarah’s hobbies include playing video games, watching tv shows, sports and listening and going to concerts. Sarah’s favorite video games are The Sims 4, Minecraft and MLB The Show. Sarah’s favorite tv shows are Supernatural and Hawkeye. You can catch Sarah cheering on her favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates for baseball, and the Pittsburgh Penguins for hockey. Sarah has been to many concerts and loves listening to music, her favorite artists being Waterparks and Set it Off.
