Liam Peklinsky was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. He attended Wheeling Park Highschool and graduated class of 2020. Because of the Covid19 pandemic, he decided to take two years off before attending college. In that time, he started pursuing video editing and filmmaking as well as working at Oglebay Park. Liam then started attending West Liberty University in the 2022 fall semester. He is ensuing a Digital Media Design degree, the current president of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity on campus, and he works as a drone pilot and photographer for Lee Paull Associates.
He has been interested in cinematography and the production industry for as long as he can remember and has grown up around the audio industry because of his family business. Liam is the son of Jamie Peck, professional music producer and audio engineer, and he comes from a very musical family. Some of his hobbies are working on cars, playing video games, spending time with his girlfriend, and freelance editing. He also really enjoys playing tabletop games like Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40k, and Dungeons and Dragons.
Liam hopes to learn as much as he can from studying DMD and plans to continue experiencing everything the Media Arts field has to offer. His plans after college are somewhat uncertain but he plans to find work through the stagehand’s union IATSE out of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania as well as practicing freelance cinematography.
