On November 22nd, WGLZ DJ Alexander Ayers interviewed Monica Martich who is a third grade teacher at Weirton Elementary in Weirton, West Virginia. She has been teaching there for a couple years. She is also a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, where she graduated in 2015 with a bachelors in Elementary Education and in 2017 she received a masters in Educational Leadership.
After she graduated from Wheeling Jesuit. She worked at the St. Joseph The Worker School in Weirton. After she worked their, she then got a job teaching third grade at Weirton Elementary. Why she chose to become a teacher is because she developed a passion to educate children to prepare them for their future. Mrs. Martich has a huge passion for teaching and it shows.
