On November 15th, WGLZ DJ Alex Ayers interviewed WTOV Channel 9’s Creative Services Producer, Scott Renner. Scott has been working for WTOV for a few years and has been involved with communications since the early 2000’s. He is originally from New Cumberland, West Virginia and is a West Liberty alumni graduating in the class of 2001. Where is got a bachelors degree in Communications with Specialization in TV and Radio. Scott chose to work in communications because it felt like a passionate career to be in. He chose West Liberty because it was a college that was close to home and it offered a major he wanted to work in. 

After he graduated from West Liberty, he spent time in Wheeling making commercials for local events in the area. After working in Wheeling he got married and later moved to Tampa, Florida where he worked for the NBC station for several years. After Tampa he moved Steubenville, Ohio. Ever since moving their he has been working at WTOV being the Creative Services Producer.
