iPads and Apple TVs
Apple TVs are available in all the classrooms for faculty and students to take advantage of the mirroring and mobile capabilities of iOS devices. Faculty and staff in College of Education are outfitted with an iPad Mini for classroom usage and can access the College-owned iPad 2s for hands-on learning activities.

SMARTBoard
SMARTBoard classrooms located in Main Hall 312, 314, 339, 352, and 368 and Blatnik G2 and G4 including instructor and student workstations and projection equipment. This areas are available for use as open labs when they are not reserved for use as classrooms.

Intelliboard
Intelliboard classrooms located in Main Hall 338, 348, 366, and 369 including instructor and student workstations and projection equipment. This areas are available for use as open labs when they are not reserved for use as classrooms.

TAP-it™
TAP-it™ is a touch accessible platform interactive technology located in the Main Hall 324 Special Education Classroom. The College of Education adds this device to the group of products that enable the faculty and students to have the ADA compliant interactive learning station. Faculty can integrate this technology into their classroom and create accessibility for students with special needs.

LiveText
The College of Education offers a variety of assessment formats. All the faculty and full-time students in the College of Education have their own LiveText accounts for electronic assignment/assessment and professional performance portfolio development. LiveText allows the College of Education for seamless integration and data reporting to effectively measure learning goals and institutional objectives for accreditation and continuous improvement.

Sakai
The College of Education offers a variety of online courses. We also offer traditional courses that integrate an online component. The majority of College of Education’s course offerings are supported by online resources available through the University’s learning management system, Sakai.

Technology Teaching Assistant Program
The College of Education takes the initiative in leveraging mobile technology for enhanced instruction via our new Technology Teaching Assistant (TTA) program. This program works with faculty and students to enable and promote the development and dissemination of innovative uses of technology in teaching and learning. TTAs shall demonstrate their proficiency in the technology application operation and trouble-shooting, and provide their assigned faculty with one-on-one assistance during scheduled hours per week or “call-out” basis according to the faculty’s needs.
