Abby Adams is a West Virginian who was born in Virginia, yet moved to Warwood, West Virginia when she was in 2nd grade where she spent most of her life. She attended Wheeling Park High school till the day she graduated in Summer 2021, but; however, due to the effects of Covid 19 Pandemic from 2020, she chose to take a gap year till Fall 2022 when she enrolled into West Liberty University. Abby is now currently a sophomore working on her undergraduate Bachelor degree in Digital Media Design.

Abby always had a passion for art and writing stories ever since Middle School. She loves drawing up different characters for each story, she even sometimes daydreams about living in her own world with her creations. Now speaking about Abby’s creations, she has designed 6 characters because when she graduates from school, she wants to create her very own animated series on a TV program. Her love for animation stems from childhood; watching cartoons consisting of Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and much more. Her favorite film genres are action, comedy, supernatural, superhero, and sometimes horror.

Not only does she love art and writing, she also likes to play video games ranging from Super Mario to Mortal Kombat, and loves to spend time with her friends and family such as going to a weekly Farmers Market with her Grandparents.

 Abby isn’t so sure what she wants to do after WLU graduation; whether it’s to earn another bachelor degree at School of Visual art of New York, or to get a job inside an animation studio to hopefully promote her own animated series. Now that she has started working for WGLZ, she hopes to gain confidence and knowledge for the future.
